| My plate by the end, none to shabby! |
6 x Onion Rings and a plateful of chips
This is essentially 1kg or 2.2 lb of food... The contenders were myself, Dave (singer form Rezurrected), his bro Andy, John obviously, my 2 mates Guy and Jason and Tom (guitarist from Rezurrected). However Tom had a 'dodgy tummy' and so wussed out.. I shall show him how man up one day ;)
From the off Dave and Guy looked odds on favourties,

Results:
Guy won hands down, we reckon he finished it in 25 minutes! The guy to the right licking his plate clean is Guy (the plate gave it away right?). It was effectively just to beat me, he wasn't proud of huimself and had many a digestion problem!
Dave came in a very close Second, by close it was closest to third and fourth than Guy in first! I was probably equal third with Andy.. There were literally chips in it.. Dave probably 10 ahead of me and Andy.
Fifth goes to John, half a burger left.. and Jason well, we think he sniffed it... as not a lot of food appeared to be missing from his plate! When the burger came out 3 of us thought 'easy' didn't look as much as you think, but by the time it gets cold.. it becomes a different beast to eat. I think personally if it could have stayed warm I'd have had a better go at it, maybe even finishing with Guy..
The problem isn't in the pub eating the food, that's pretty much the easy part, yes there is some sweating, changing colour, apparently from green to white at one point! The problem lies in the next 48 hours.. getting comfy to sleep wasn't easy and the toilet was on overtime. Still we can say we've doen it, and potentially never doing it again!
Well there is the '666' challenge in Leicester...
I challenged the burger.. and it beat me :(
